From the Santa Monica Mountains to the shopping malls, Woodland Hills has something for everyone. Warner Center, an area of skyscrapers, retail and residential space known as the Downtown of the Valley is located in Woodland Hills and Canoga Park.
Real Estate: Woodland Hills offers single-family homes for sale and rent as well as townhouses, apartments, and condos for sale. The Warner Center 2035 plan calls for adding more housing and green space to the area.
Community Life: Warner Center is urban in use but suburban in nature with park-like space and entertainment options. Warner Center Park hosts summer concerts and movie nights. Woodland Hills is home to the Woodland Hills Country Club. The Woodland Hills Recreation Center in Shoup Park is a 19-acre park in Woodland Hills, which has an indoor gymnasium, lighted baseball diamond, basketball courts and more. Woodland Hills Pool is an outdoor, seasonal, unheated swimming pool. The Pierce College Farm Market is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Education: Woodland Hills is served by the Los Angeles Unified School District including Woodland Hills Elementary, Calabash Street Elementary, Woodlake Avenue Elementary, and William Howard Taft Senior High. Private schools include Woodland Hills Private School, Pinecrest Schools, Topanga Mountain School, and Louisville High School. Los Angeles Pierce College is also in the area.
Transportation: Woodland Hills is easily accessed by the 101 Freeway. The area is served by many public bus routes through the LADOT and by the Metro Orange Line.
Local Attractions: Woodland Hills is primarily a residential area but is located within easy access of many attractions including Universal Studios.
